Music Ministry Opportunities @ Faith

FLC Choir – This is the main choir at Faith Lutheran which rehearses on most Thursday nights at 5:45 and sing for Sunday services twice per month.  The FLC choir also sings at occasional special events and major church holidays.  This is also the main choir that performs in our annual Christmas cantata. This choir is open to all members in grade 7 through adult, and no prior singing experience is necessary.

Cantata Orchestra – This group is the main orchestra that accompanies the choir in our annual Christmas cantata.  All members who play strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion are welcome to participate in this group.

Sounds of Faith – This is the worship team that leads Wednesday night worship services and occasional Sunday morning services.  They consist of guitar, bass, drums, piano, and vocals.

Handbell Choir – This group rings bells at occasional church services and is open for participation to all church members. Some musical knowledge is helpful, but not required, when participating in this group.

Special Music Groups – There are many opportunities for individuals and small groups to share their musical gifts with the congregation during church services.  This may include individual solos, duets, quartets, instrumental or vocal.

If you are interested in any of the above opportunities, feel free to contact Colin Neuharth for more information including schedules and other opportunities.  Colin may be contacted by phone through the church (223-2236) or e-mail at colin.bisfaith@gmail.com.
